Insurance Options
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
The option is always included in the rate. By this option you are relieved from all financial responsibility over and above the first 513 euros for loss or damage to the vehicle and its parts or accessories except by or following theft, attempted theft or vandalism. CDW does not cover damages to the tyres, windscreen and oil sump of the car. Liability to the above parts of the vehicle can be waived by accepting the Additional Damage Waiver (ADW).
Additional Damage Waiver (ADW)
Damage liability for the tyres, windscreen, and oil sump of the vehicle can be waived if you choose to accept this service. Once again it should be mentioned that the above parts of the vehicle are not covered if you choose only the CDW option. If the option of Additional Damage Waiver is not taken up the renter must accept responsibility for the costs of repairing or replacing damaged tyres, windscreen and oil sump of the vehicle.
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SDW)
If you choose to accept this option you are relieved of all financial responsibility for loss or damage to the vehicle and its parts or accessories except by or following theft, attempted theft or vandalism. SDW does not cover damages to the tyres, windscreen and oil sump of the car.
Theft Protection (TP)
If you choose to accept our Theft Protection option, it will relieve you of the financial responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, the Hertz vehicle by following theft, attempted theft or vandalism. The cover is also extended to the parts and accessories of the vehicle. If a vehicle happens to be stolen or vandalised during your rental period and you have not taken our Theft Protection, you will be responsible for the costs of its repair or replacement.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
One of the most important things to consider when taking out insurance is your personal cover. Personal Accident Insurance is a service, which has been designed to meet this need. The cover and benefits provided by this option are outlined below, but please note that they are subject to the provisions, limitations and exceptions of the Personal Insurance policy arranges them. The policy covers loss of life of the vehicle's authorised driver caused directly by an accident whilst driving the vehicle up to 17 100 euros. You will also be covered for expenses of up to 427, 50 euros per rented vehicle, for medical treatment resulting directly from an accident in which the vehicle is involved.

Terms and Conditions
Rentals
Minimum rental period is 24hours.
Free delivery and collection is included in the price quoted. The Rent-it-Here, Leave-it-There policy also applies. This allows the renter to return the vehicle to a different location from the pick up point at no extra charge.
Baby seats are available on request at an additional charge of 1, 71 euros per day per seat.
Driver
Drivers must be in possession of a valid national driver's license (which has been held for a minimum of one year) and a valid passport. Minimum rental age is 25.
Additional drivers may obtain the right to drive the Hertz vehicle at an extra charge of 3, 42 euros per day per additional driver. Drivers unauthorised by a car hire company are not covered by any insurance scheme and the driver will be liable for any damages caused to either the vehicle or third parties.
Payment
Car hire company can accept either cash or a valid credit card as a form of payment at the time of rental.
Petrol
Petrol is not included in the quoted price and must be paid in advance by the renter at the time of rental. Cars must be returned empty at the end of the rental and there is no refund for any unused petrol.
Cars
Reservations are only accepted by car group and not by car model. Specific car models are subject to availability at the time of pick up.
