Creative Tours Ltd has embedded sustainability, support for local communities, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the core of its business operations. Our partnerships include eco-friendly Hotels, small local vineyards, family run businesses: cultural, gastronomy, customs, traditions, wineries, workshops like: olive oil, rose water, sweets, cheese producers, traditional pottery makers, products of bees, and women’s cooperatives, ensuring that a portion of the tourism revenue remains within the local economy. For example, by organizing hands-on workshops, such as pottery-making, halloumi classes, baskets-making or wine-tasting sessions, tourists not only enjoy unique experiences but also help local artisans increase their revenue and the natural beauty of Cyprus. Additionally, we’ve partnered with environmental organizations for beach cleanups and reforestation projects that involve both tourists and local residents. Our main future target includes more collaborations to the planting of trees, contributing to the island’s reforestation efforts and promoting biodiversity.
Creative tours is a Member of the “Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative “(CSTI) and in 2024 participated in I-STARS project, cofounded by the European Union. The I-STARS project is all about accompanying tourism businesses down their transition journey to sustainability & resilience. Creative staff participates almost every year in «PrimeTel 5 km Corporate Race of the OPAP Limassol Marathon», through the charity participation of ACTTA (ASSOCIATION OF CYPRUS TRAVEL & TOURISM AGENTS). At the office, one of the targets is recycling of plastic, paper and glass through recycle bins all over the company, plus zero printing. The yearly printing our brochures is stopped for all our departments, by creating QR codes and e-brochures.
