Round Trips

Creative Tours offer different Round Trips which will meet your clients’ expectations for sure. For example, one of our most requested round trip is the “Cyprus without Boundaries”. We used to say that this itinerary gives you a preview of “all the facets of Cyprus Island” as it proposes excursions in the South AND in the North part of the Island. Your only wish, at the end, will be to come again!

 
 

DAY 1: ARRIVAL

On arrival, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport. Transfer to your first night’s accommodation in Larnaca.

DAY 2: VISIT TO LARNACA & NICOSIA

In Larnaca: Visit to the St Lazarus Church followed by a stop at the Salt Lake and the Tekke Hala Sultan Mosque. In Kiti, visit to the “Angeloktisti” Church whose name translates as “built by the Angels”. Our next stop is the island capital, Nicosia, the last divided city in Europe: Visit to the St John Cathedral and the Byzantine Icons Museum. You will have lunch in the old merchant district of « Laiki Yitonia ». During the afternoon, you will visit the Archaeological Museum of the city. Dinner, and night in your hotel in Nicosia.

DAY 3:  VISIT TO NICOSIA, KERYNIA & BELLAPAIS

Nicosia has been the capital of the Island since the Middle-Ages. This city was successively held by the Templars then by the Lusignan dynasty before finally being conquered by the Ottomans. You will visit the ancient St. Sophia Cathedral which offers a magnificent example of French religious architecture in the middle-east region. It was founded during the XIIIth century by St Louis, the King of France. Departure for Kerynia, where you will visit the former fortress built by the Venetians. Within its fortifications stands the small byzantine Church of St George and an interesting archaeological museum sheltering the precious wreck of a Greek ship from 300 B.C. Finally, departure for the beautiful Bellapaïs Abbey, which is one of the most gorgeous sites of the Island. Founded during the XIIth century, the abbey was held by the Premonstratensians. Lunch will be included during the excursion. Dinner and night in your hotel in Nicosia.

DAY 4: DISCOVERY OF THE TROODOS REGION

Taking the route where you have the opportunity to see the most beautiful mountain villages, you will visit the Asinou’s Church. Dating from the XIIth century, it is dedicated to The Virgin Mary and protected by the UNESCO. You will then visit the Holy Kykkos Monastery, the most famous Monastery of the Island. Among its treasures, stands the icon of The Virgin painted by the Evangelist St Luc. You will then continue until the tomb of Archbishop Makarios III, the former archbishop and 1st President of Cyprus from 1960 until 1977. The next visit will be the Church of the Archangel St Michael in Pedoulas. Lunch will be included during the excursion. Dinner and night in your hotel in the mountains.

DAY 5: VISIT TO OMODOS & PAFOS

Departure for the exquisite village of Omodos and a visit to the local wine press called « Linos ». Wine tasting at the local museum will follow and then a visit to « the Church of the Holy Cross». On the way back, you will stop at Geroskipou for a visit of the St Paraskevi Church. Next stop will be the loukoumi factory of the village with, of course, a tasting of this delicious sweet. Lunch will be included during the excursion. In the afternoon, you will discover Pafos (one of the European Cities of Culture 2017) and its monuments: Thehouses of Dionysos, Aion and Theseus and their magnificent mosaics, the St Paul Pillar and the Church of Chryssopolitissa.  Dinner and night in your hotel in Paphos.

DAY 6:  VISIT TO PAFOS & LATCHI, TAVERNA NIGHT

After your visit to the old market of Pafos, you will visit the site of the Tomb of the Kings. You will then stop at the serene Monastery of St. Neophytos. This monastery is well known for its magnificent frescoes painted in the Saint’s hermitage in the rocks, and for the collection of Icons of the Monastery. In the small fisherman village of Latchi, you will see the famous Aphrodite’s Baths and uncover the secret of endless youth!!. The lunch is included during the excursion. Back to the hotel, and prepare for a memorable evening in a tavern with a lavish meze dinner, traditional music and folkloric dance. Night in your hotel in Pafos.

DAY 7:  CURIUM & KOLOSSI                                           

On the way to Limassol, you will be taken to the must-see rock of « Petra Tou Romiou », the legendary birthplace of the Goddess Aphrodite. Following the road of the White Cliffs, you will find the ancient Kingdom City of Kourion. Its Roman/Greek theater offers a unique and gorgeous panorama, the fine mosaics of « the House of Eustolios » and, a bit further up the road, the Sanctuary of Apollon Hylates. The day ends with a visit to the Kolossi dungeon. Lunch is included during the excursion. Dinner and night in your hotel in Limassol.

DAY 8: DEPARTURE
