Cyprus has an average of 320 to 340 days of sunshine a year, and even in December or January, which correspond to the rainy season, the sun still shines for up to 6 hours a day and it only rains 12 days per month. Which is much better than anywhere in Europe for the same period.
The “low season” (September-November) and the beginning of the year (February-March) are very sunny periods, without precipitation and above all much quieter to discover the island in group or family.
The bathing waters in Cyprus are also known to be always warm enough so that the bravest can swim all year round (average temperature of water in winter: 17 degrees Celsius) and for their cleanliness.
