Arrival in Cyprus. Reception and transfer to your hotel, dinner and installation in Larnaca.

DAY 2:
Departure for the village of Lefkara, famous for its goldsmith and lace embroidery ” Lefkaritika “. A bit of spare time in the little streets of the village to discover local crafts. Direction the domain of ” Dafermou “. This 50-hectare vineyard combines modernity, ecology and tradition. Tasting. Stop in the small village of Kato Drys for the visit of the Museum of Bees and Embroidery. The owners will explain you all about the process of making honey, which they have been producing for generations. Possibility of buying homemade products: Honey, olive oil, wine. Head to the Commandaria Museum in Zoopiyi village to learn all about the history of the oldest wines in the world. Go up to the village of Agros to visit ” Niki Sweets “, a small company specialized in the confection of local traditional desserts: fruits in syrup, jams, soutzoukos and then visit of a rose distillery, another emblematic product of the island. Lunch during the excursion. Dinner and overnight in Agros.

DAY 3:
Departure for the village of Kyperounta and its winery. This booming winery has been awarded 6 times at the last annual wine competition in Cyprus (2016). Tasting. Then we go to the village of Pelendri for the beautiful vineyard of Tsiakkas located at 1000m above sea level and surrounded by a pine forest. The producer will make you visit his cellar and you will taste all the wines of the domain. Visit the Church Timios Stavros (or Church of the Holy Cross) built in the fourteenth century, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Direction Korfi to visit the estate “Erotokritos”. Presentation of local specialties and possibility of buying products such as: Zivania (brandy), soutzoukos (dessert made from grapes and almonds). On the way to Limassol, we will stop in the village of Laneia where you can have a stroll through the alleys to admire the traditional architecture and its old winepress. Lunch during the excursion. Dinner and overnight in Limassol.

DAY 4:
First stop at the Medieval Donjon of Kolossi built in the 13th century. This military building housed the Grand Commandery of the Knights of the Order of St. John. Second stop in Agios Ambrosios to visit the ” Gaia Oinotechniki ” cava. This cellar is famous for its organic red and rosé wines that you can taste of course. Go up the road to the small village of Vasa Koilaniou and stop at the family estate ” Argyrides “. This 200-years-old winery has been producing wine for 4 generations. There is also a small Museum to visit. Outside the village of Koilani, visit another family winery awarded at international competitions: ” Ayia Mavri “. Tasting. Then head to the charming village of Omodos, with its traditional stone houses where a secular lifestyle is still reigning. Tasting of the best vines in the region at ” Linos Winery “. You will visit the old wine press and the old monastery of the Holy Cross. Back to Limassol, free time in the old town. Lunch during the excursion. Dinner and overnight in Limassol.

DAY 5:
Discovery of the archaeological site of Kourion. This Ancient City Kingdom is among one of the most spectacular sites on the island: The Greco-Roman Theatre, the Eustolios House and its fine mosaics from the 4th century. Then, a short drive to the village of Anogyra where you will visit the Oleastro Park and its oil press. Possibility of buying all local products derived from olive fruit. Then visit the Museum of Carob and Pasteli and the family cellar ” Nicolaides “. Graduate in oenology in France, the owner combines tradition and modernity for a reasoned production. Tasting. Continue to the village of Kathikas to visit the ” Vassilikon ” Estate. This modern complex is composed of a winery and a wine bar, an oenology Museum and an Art |Gallery. Tasting of the Estate’s wines: Vassilikon, Evalia, Ayios Onoufrios and Methi. Spare time in the village, then direction Vouni-Panayia. Housed in a charming traditional house, the local winery has been renovated to be faithfull to the past. You will taste 6 different wines comfortably installed in the family living room. You will end the day visiting the Chrysorrogiatisa Monastery and its cellar. It also produces a very nice cherry liquor. Lunch during the excursion. Dinner and overnight in Paphos.

DAY 7:
Visit the site of the Tombs of Kings dating from the 3rd century BC. then direction the village of Yeroskipou, also called the Sacred Garden of the goddess Aphrodite, for a tasting of Cyprus delights in a small factory. Departure for the village of Pareklisia where is the Cave ” Hadjiantonas “. Dynamic and innovative are the two words that describe the best this winery. This cellar although recent managed to obtain several International rewards including the prestigious Decanter World Wine Competition. Owners Theodoros and Natasha (French) produce great wines from indigenous grape varieties. Tasting. Continue to Kiti for a visit to the Church of Archangel Michael. This Byzantine church from the 11th century was built on the ruins of a paleochristian basilica, whose apse has survived. In Larnaca, discover the Hala Sultan Mosque, fourth holy place for the Muslim religion located on the banks of the salted lake. You will also visit the Church of St. Lazarus erected on the tomb of the Saint by the Emperor Leo VI, in the old center of the city. Lunch during the excursion. Dinner and overnight in Larnaca.
